Hello everybody!
As you know I will be sharing with you places where you can find French food in Toronto. Whether you are a French immigrant in Toronto or simply are someone who like French food, I will tell you where to find everything you are looking for!
Today I am sharing with you another great place where you can find French cheese but also other French products. This new cheese paradise is called Cheese boutique and is situated at Ripley avenue near High park. I really like this store as I am able to find so many of my favorite products and as a fine food lover it is a true paradise to me. One tip though! Make sure to have a budget if you go there! It is really easy to spend a fortune in this store as it is mostly imported products (so obviously more expensive), and every time I go there I always get chocked to see the final price. So follow my advice and set a maximum budget in your mind.
The store is divided in several area. The first area is dedicated to snacks, cookies, different types of oil and vinegar, as well as cookies, mustard and jams. I was also surprised to see that they had foie gras as well as duck breast, deer and bison meat.
They also have a room entirely dedicated to pasta and tomato sauce. They have many different types of pasta including squid ink and gluten free pasta and various tomato sauce and pesto to go with it.
The main room is the one dedicated to cheese, cured ham and various cold cut. They have a wild variety of cheese which I find very impressive, and have cheese from many country such as England, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, etc. So if you want to try other cheese than the French ones, you will be very pleased! You can find the complete list of their cheese in their cheese vault. You can also call them to make sure they have the cheese you are looking for.
To conclude, Cheese boutique is a real treasure for me as I can find some French products that I use for cooking or simply enjoy eating but also my favorite cheese. It is definitely expensive but it is worth it to me. I love the variety of products they have and truly advise you to go there!
Let me know if you have been to this store before and what are your favorite cheeses in the comments!

Hello Diane have you found a store that sells Le Petit Marseille bar soap in Toronto?

Hello Christine, you can find the brand “Le Petit Marseillais” online at walmart and amazon, however, I haven’t found the bar soap, only liquid soap. For the bar soap, I can recommend this website: https://savon-de-marseille.ca/boutique/en
They carry traditional Marseille soap and other natural soaps and are based in Canada.
